7 time National Champion

5 time Texas State Champion in Creative Forms, Weapons, and Sparring

Christian grew up surrounded by martial arts watching his family Sensei’s Clarissa and Marco Villanueva practicing at their martial arts school and reaching one of the peaks in Sports Karate – NBL World Champion.

Christian trains at Team Tiger Martial Arts in McAllen, TX owned by Sensei Gilberto Villanueva. Christian began his martial arts career in 2008.  Surprisingly he ended up quitting a year later as a yellow belt.  He simply did not have the drive and determination for the sport.  He never stopped watching his famous cousins getting better and better and listening to their advice.

Then he found his niche, extreme martial arts adding ticking, flips, and advanced kicks.  Christian was ready to be reunited with sport karate once more.

Christian maintains a 4.0 GPA in high school. He is the president of DECA a business and marketing club known worldwide. He has over 62 college hours while still in high school.  He is also a member of the Masterminds Club where he competes against district schools in Math, Science, and History.

Christian loves to play guitar and piano. He likes to hang out with friends and most importantly go to church and hear the word of God.  He feels without the support, love, care and motivation of his father and sister he would not be the person he is today.
